About the Recruiter : Astra Law Chambers provides services in various Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution, along with advisory and consultancy services covering Civil Law, Criminal Law, Commercial Disputes, Constitutional Matters, Consumer Disputes, Family Disputes, Administrative Matters and Other Legal Services. We represent and defend our clients’ interests before various Civil Courts, Criminal Courts, Revenue Courts, Tribunals, High Court of Different States and other Quasi- Judicial Authorities. Our firm is based out of Bangalore, Karnataka.

About the Internship: Astra Law Chambers is looking for law interns.

Eligibility: Candidate must have completed at least 3 years in a 5 years LLB course OR at least 2 years in a 3 years LLB course.

Time period: December 2022

Internship Profile:

Selected interns are expected to work 5 days a week in hybrid mode with flexible work hours, depending on the workload.

The office is generally open from 10 AM to 6 PM, however, hours are flexible depending on mutual arrangement.

Field of work involves preparing legal notices, replies, corporate and IP transactional work, contract drafting, general dispute handling, arbitrations, civil and criminal litigation, commercial disputes and litigation, NCLT and DRT matters, attending day-to-day hearings, legal research etc.

On-the-job training will be provided.

Stipend: Selected interns will be eligible for performance-based stipends at par with industry standards.

Location: Hybrid. Students can opt for both online and offline internships. Well-performing interns will be eligible for PPOs in Kolkata.
