ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The program was created to aid and develop a Law student’s understanding of the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution. This program aims to make legal learning feasible for all students. Most Importantly, by receiving knowledge from Industry-level professionals in the field who have established and maintained their presence in the legal fraternity for a long time.
This program aims to nurture the student’s understanding of Alternative Dispute Resolution, which is one of the most basic skills a lawyer must possess. It aims to help the student seek an understanding of both the drafting and practical aspects of Alternative Dispute Resolution through engaging activities conducted under the mentorship of Industry professionals The activities, catering to the current Industry requirements, will help the student prepare himself to be a strong arbitrator, mediator, and negotiator. Through this program, we believe that we aid the student to satisfy his thirst for knowledge.
PROGRAM DETAILS
The program is created in such a manner that it can amplify the essential objective of SKILL SET DEVELOPMENT THROUGH MENTORSHIP. The programs mentioned below are part of a ONE-MONTH PROGRAM where the student develops practical and drafting skills in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION
WEEK 1-
DAY 1: What is ADR ?- Introduction to the current ADR scenario.
DAY 2: What is Mediation?
WEEK 2-
DAY 1: How to conduct a mediation session ?- Roleplaying a mediation session
DAY 2: Mediation competition!
WEEK 3-
DAY 1: How to reach a settlement ?- Understanding the process of mediation settlement
DAY 2: What is Arbitration?
WEEK 4-
DAY 1: Opportunities you can secure as a mediator through Equa.Law
DAY 2: Clearing your doubts about ADR and CV building session
Activities and Assignments conducted will require the proper and full engagement of learners.

The workshop will also include a CV-building and career guidance session where students can learn how to develop their careers in the field of ADR.

Sample Drafts relevant to the workshops will be provided to the learners

Interns will be assigned work based on their mediation workshop.

The workshop would be live for two days scheduled for the weekend of each week.

The assignments provided will provide good competition and real-life experience.
