About the Organization : Maharashtra National Law University Nagpur (MNLU) (also known as National Law University, Nagpur or NLU Nagpur) is a National Law University and a public law school established by the government through the Maharashtra National Law University Act (Maharashtra Act No. VI of 2014). The university is the 19th National Law University established in India and is located in the Orange City of Nagpur, Maharashtra. The Chief Justice of India serves as the Head of the institution.

About the Job: Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur invites applications for the post of Associate Professor (Law) and Research Associate.

Eligibility:

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF LAW

• A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.

• A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

• A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution / industry with a minimum of Seven Publications in the Peer-reviewed or UGC-listed Journals and a total research score of Seventy-Five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2.

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

• At least 55% marks at the Master’s Degree level in Law / Criminology / Forensic Science from and Indian University or an equivalent Degree from an accredited Foreign University.

• Candidate must be Tech Savvy.
